Please help us create an Insanely Great App.
Dulcinea Technologies is working on our first product: Warp Life™.
It is our own take on Conway's Game of Life, the first of a class of computer programs known as Cellular Automata. We didn't invent the game - it was created by computer scientist John Conway in the early 1970s. But we have our own special take on it.
When Warp Life is complete, it will be available inexpensively from the Apple iPhone App Store. Pricing will be announced in mid-February.
You could help us do a better job if you would try out preliminary test versions of Warp Life.
In return for your kindness, you will receive credit in Warp Life itself, on Dulcinea's website, and of course you will receive a free complimentary copy of the final product after it hits the App Store.
Testing will come in two phases: Alpha Test comes when all the features are complete, but the App has not yet been extensively tested. Thus it is possible that there will be some bad bugs. Beta Testing comes after Alpha Test is complete and after all the bugs identified during Alpha have been fixed.
If you'd like to help out, please send the following information to betatest@dulcineatech.com

Provide the following items for each device that you wish to test with. Note that Apple's Ad Hoc Distribution requires us to submit the UDID for each individual device in the test. If you want to test with, say, an iPhone and an iPad, we will need this information for each of them:
Model Name, such as "iPhone 4".
Flash Memory Size, such as "32 GB".
Please tell us the software version and model number for each device:
For example, I have an iPod Touch, 64 GB, Version 4.0 (8A293), Model MC011LL.
Very Important! Please give us the UDID for each device you wish to test with:
For example, my UDID is:
d7bff344de6a391e370b6b32e35f8d4040d532fb
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
Don't just send us a screenshot of your UDID! Some of our Alpha Testers did just that, but the UDID is a forty-digit hexadecimal number, and must be entered in Dulcinea's iPhone Provisioning Portal at Apple's Developer website.
If you send us a screenshot of your UDID rather than following the above instructions to send of the test of your UDID, we will be forced to meticulously copy all forty digits or your UDID by hand into the provisioning portal.
If we screw up even one single digit of your UDID, iTunes will refuse to install your Alpha build for you!
Alpha Testing is now ongoing, and will continue until our research into the Warp Life Algorithm is complete and our App is as bug-free as we can possibly make it. Beta Test will commence after that. Warp Life will be submitted to Apple for App Store approval after Beta Testing has contued for at least two weeks with no more bugs of any sort being discovered.
We will provide the test builds on a password-protected web page. Once the build is ready, we will send you the page's URL as well as your password.
Thank You!
